I am trying to sell my home by myself but I have no idea what to do in regards to paperwork, deeds or titles. If I do have a buyer, who would I go to when they get the approval from the bank. Do I just call my mortgage company and say that I sold the house and this is the new owner or what. Im so worried that I am gonna have to get a realtor and lose that 6%.

Need some advices on selling home by owner

what are some paperworks that i need to have it handy/ready during the process?
I know when agents are invovled they do all the work… and then the escrow company does the rest… with selling by owners, can the escrow company still get invovled?

any advices are appreciated

We are military in Texas and will be moving in June to Alabama. We have listed out property on MilitaryBy Owner website, but would like to find out any tips for selling quick. Our home is in very good condition, only 3yrs old.

Sold my house. Did change of address. Contacted suppliers for my home business of new address. New owner harassing that when he googles the address my business name still appears linked to the address. Tried to contact these web sites/businesses (trying to be nice) and cant get through to some of them. They are fly by nights or spammers. Do I have any legal obligations?

If I sold my home "by owner" & the buyer had an agent, would that agent take care of all of the paperwork?

I got Divorced in 1999 and had to sign away my claim to the property. My Ex-wife was not able to refinance the loan in her name so I remain liable for the note until she was forclosed on due to not making payments. I paid the loan off and forced her to sell the house via the Court. The home was sold by the court in 2007.
I legally did not own the home the second I signed the quit claim deed. Does that count?

If you do not know the answer dont guess the tax plan does allow for previous owners that did not own property in the last three years to take full advangtage of this tax credit.

Hello. I have a woman coming to look at my home that is for sale by me. I bought my home by owner & I am selling it that way. A woman is coming to see it & said she is bringing a mortgage pre-approval. That is basically papers for her to apply for a mortgage correct? So maybe I will need to fill some things out or give her some info right? Thanks
